The Sunday race delivered pure excitement under sunny skies, with the fans creating an electric atmosphere. Fabio Quartararo led early, but after thrilling battles and dramatic crashes, Alex Marquez fought his way to the front and secured an emotional victory. Bagnaia and Quartararo completed the podium after an action-packed race full of twists and turns.
The Sunday race started with sunny weather and an amazing atmosphere made by the fans. The warm-up lap went smoothly. When the lights went out, Fabio Quartararo had a great start and kept his position in front. Marc Marquez lost a place to his teammate, Francesco Bagnaia.
Alex Marquez tried an incredible overtake but went wide and couldn’t complete it. Meanwhile, the two Ducati factory riders battled hard and even made contact! Alex, with help from his teammate Fermín Aldeguer, started catching up.
The big fight was between Marc and Bagnaia, but while they were battling, Quartararo used the chance to pull away and create a gap from the others. Alex caught up to his brother again and looked for a way to overtake.
In the middle of the pack, there was a tough fight between Joan Mir, Fabio Di Giannantonio, and Jack Miller.
On lap 3, Bagnaia set the fastest lap, showing he was stronger than Marc today. Sadly for Marc Marquez, he crashed — his second race crash this season — but he got back on the bike and continued. Meanwhile, Bagnaia and Alex caught up to Quartararo at the front. Alex then overtook Bagnaia, almost like "revenge" for Marc’s earlier fall!
Pedro Acosta moved up to 11th place, while Fermín Aldeguer, who had been riding really well, crashed out on lap 6. Maverick Viñales kept up his strong weekend form and moved into 4th place.
By lap 8, Quartararo was leading with Alex right behind. Bagnaia made a mistake, losing some time. A battle for 7th place heated up between Miller and Franco Morbidelli. Marc, meanwhile, fought back, passing Lorenzo Savadori for 20th, then quickly moved to 19th.
Then came a big moment: Alex Marquez overtook Quartararo to take the lead! Things got worse for Fabio, as Bagnaia started closing in on him too. It looked like Quartararo was losing pace. Bagnaia was searching for a way to pass, but at the same time, Viñales in 4th was catching them both.
Jack Miller had technical problems and retired from the race. Later, Joan Mir crashed out at Turn 6. Marc Márquez kept fighting, climbing up to 17th place, then even higher.
On lap 17, Franco Morbidelli crashed at Turn 11. A few laps later, Luca Marini passed Enea Bastianini for 9th place. Not much else happened in the front group, and Alex Márquez had built a 2.5-second gap!
With just four laps to go, Marc Marquez finally reached 13th place. In the final laps, no big attacks happened, and it looked like the top 5 would stay the same.
Finally, Alex Márquez crossed the line first to take the win! Fabio Quartararo finished second, and Francesco Bagnaia completed the podium in third.
